Actually, Conversation Pieces are for any time of year, for any occasion, because you can write whatever you want, whenever you want, using a dry erase marker. But it’s almost Christmas season, so, that’s why, in this case, it’s perfect for Christmas. You can get this piece on my ETSY STORE.
This piece is small, 3 1/2″ x 2 1/2″, but it makes a big impression. I just posted it onto my Etsy page.
Inspired by Native American blankets, I made glass tiles and arranged them in this pattern, fused them all together, picked up the pattern on the blowpipe, and shaped it into this small pot. I then sandblasted the surface, to give it a matte finish. One of a kind, there are no more tiles to make another piece. Hope you like it.

This could take years!. And whatever you found would be covered in annoying silt. Why not just visit my Etsy Store? I’m sure you’ll find something there. And no bugs.
April 16, Saturday, if you’re in the Portland area, stop in at the Big Thaw Craft fair. Lots of great artists there. Perfect location. I’ll be selling my glass. A great way to usher in the spring.
This is the first show made up of all Maine Etsy Sellers. I’m glad to have been selected to be there.
I posted my Conversation Pieces on Etsy yesterday, and someone added them to their treasury list. That’s great.I love that people are liking these. Check them out.
