New Fused Bowls for the Holidays

These are the latest fused bowls that I’ve made, just in time for Christmas and Hanukkah. I take rods of glass canes, lay them out in two layers, in contrasting angles, and fuse them together. Then, after cooling, I slump the plate into a shallow mold. These measure about 5 1/2 inches in diameter, and 1 inch deep.

Now available on ETSY. This is my favorite Conversation PIece word balloon that I’ve made, so far. Perfect Hanukkah gift. It’s blown glass with vinyl letters, and it hangs on the wall. There is a hole in the back, so you hang it just like a photo.
